Draft a skirt block to your own measurements, then explore dart pivoting and cut-and-spread to create fresh design variations. Leave with a personalised block, essential skills, and the confidence to move beyond commercial patterns.

This five-week course is ideal for complete beginners and confident improving sewists ready to build confidence. Each week combines a focused technical exercise with time to work on a simple garment project.

Those sewists that are confident and/or returning will work on a simply Tilly & Buttons garment. Learning to use commercial patterns and a variety of new techniques

You’ll strengthen construction and finishing skills in a supportive small class — and leave ready to sew more independently
