Join us for a relaxed and creative one-day workshop where you’ll make your own zero waste boxy top — a beautifully simple and versatile piece inspired by mindful making and sustainable design.

Perfect for confident beginners, this workshop is ideal for anyone ready to take their sewing skills a step further while exploring thoughtful, low-waste garment construction.

Working in a small group (maximum 6 learners), you’ll enjoy plenty of one-to-one support as you learn professional techniques and leave with a finished top to be proud of

• How to cut and construct a zero waste boxy top pattern using every piece of fabric.
• Using an overlocker to neatly finish seams.
• Attaching facings and bindings for a clean, professional neckline. 
• Understanding fabric grain, layout, and efficient cutting for minimal waste. 
• Tips for customising your top’s length, sleeve style, or trim details

• 1.5–2m of light- to medium-weight woven fabric (cotton, linen, or similar).
• Matching thread and optional trims or bias binding.
• Your basic sewing kit: scissors, pins, tape measure, chalk, unpicker, etc.
   

All sewing machines, overlockers, and specialist equipment are provided.
