 Our Monthly Sewing Workshop is the perfect space to work on your sewing projects with guidance, support and access to professional equipment.

Whether you're adjusting garments, finishing a project you've started at home, or tackling something new, this relaxed and supportive workshop gives you the time, tools and expert advice to move your sewing forward.

Bring along your own projects and enjoy sewing alongside a small group of fellow makers while receiving help when you need it

• Sewists comfortable with basic machine use and ready to learn garment adjustments
• Confident beginners and novice home sewers who want supportive, practical tuition
• Anyone curious about altering, repairing and improving the clothes they already own

 This workshop is designed to give you supported sewing time in a friendly learning environment.

During the session you will:

• Work on your own repair or alteration projects
• Receive advice and guidance when you need it
• Gain confidence using sewing machines and equipment
• Learn techniques to help complete or improve your project
• Sew in a relaxed, supportive small-group setting

• Two or more garments you’d like to alter, ones you want to work on during class. Not every repair/alteration is workable in the time, so please bring several options)
• Matching thread for your projects
• Optional: pinned, fitted or ready-to-adjust items — but this isn’t essential, we’ll help with fitting and pinning in class
• Basic sewing kit if you have one - there will also be plenty of equipment provided
   

Please avoid bringing very delicate, extremely expensive or highly complex pieces — choose projects that suit your current skill level so you can enjoy learning and make real progress.
